Summary

Description

We are looking for an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Deliver responsive and customer-focused Level 2 technical support to resolve hardware, software, and peripheral device issues.
Diagnose and analyze technical problems, offering timely updates and accurate resolution time estimates.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams while adhering to established procedures.
Manage and track hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with inventory best practices.
Monitor and manage service desk ticket queues, ensuring proper categorization and prompt assignment.
Support Microsoft Teams conference rooms to maintain reliable functionality and assist users with technical challenges.
Implement security measures such as Windows baselines, BitLocker, and device compliance policies to maintain secure endpoints.
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to processes, documentation, or systems.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for procedures, processes, and small IT projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or call center support roles.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows 11 operating systems and devices.
Hands-on experience with antivirus management and Office 365 administration.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory fundamentals and basic administration.
Familiarity with iOS and Android device support and basic network troubleshooting.
Competence in handling printer-related issues and workstation accessories.
Experience working with ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
