Contract Duration: 7 months (good potential to extend and/or convert to FTE)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Pay Range: $55-$75/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer with expertise in Java-based test automation, Pega platform testing, and PowerApps reporting. This role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, validating complex business workflows, and building insightful dashboards to support quality assurance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and Pega workflows.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Pega applications.
- Validate business processes, rules, and case management within the Pega Platform.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Track quality assurance metrics such as test coverage, defect trends, and execution status.
- Continuously improve automation efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: 5+ years
Technical Skills:- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience testing applications built on the Pega platform.
- Working knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with PowerApps and/or Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Maven/Gradle.
- A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55.00/hour to $75.00/hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
