Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Electrical Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Develops and maintains electrical control systems, including PLCs and HMIs.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Implements and optimizes motor control systems and variable frequency drives.
  • Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E).
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Manages electrical projects from conception through completion, including budgeting and scheduling.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout.
  • Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and automation.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
  • Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) and their electrical integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
