Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots for new and existing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, engineering) to identify automation opportunities and improve process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related downtime and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and recommend their application where appropriate.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB).
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies, vision systems, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
- Experience with SCADA and HMI development for process visualization and control.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system issues.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with ISA-88 batch control standards.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation projects.
- Experience with robotic simulation software (e.g., RoboDK, Process Simulate).
