The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Reliability Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
- Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability trends.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to improve asset reliability.
- Lead and facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) sessions.
- Implement and manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data related to asset reliability.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of reliability tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, RCA, RCM, Weibull analysis).
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., MiniTab, JMP, Python, R) for interpreting reliability data.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM) for managing asset data and maintenance activities.
Bonus Qualifications- Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) for predictive modeling and anomaly detection.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or technicians in reliability best practices.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies and their application to reliability improvement.
- Experience with specific CMMS/EAM systems like SAP PM, Maximo, or Infor EAM.
