Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design efforts using SolidWorks 3D, focusing on sheet metal and casting components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and support production ramp-up.
  • Drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and cost reduction initiatives across product lines.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Optimize supply chain processes and contribute to strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Provide engineering support for supply chain operations, including BOM validation and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in design and manufacturing.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD and mechanical design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal and casting design.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management and vendor development.
  • Expertise in cost reduction strategies, VAVE, and prototype-to-production support.
  • Good understanding of supply chain engineering and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
