Description We are looking for a skilled Product Owner to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze processes, and support the implementation of effective solutions. The position requires a strong ability to prioritize tasks, navigate complex challenges, and deliver results that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and adoption
- Define and drive product roadmaps for core applications leveraging Salesforce
- Lead stakeholder discovery sessions to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements
- Write and refine user stories in partnership with scrum teams
- Jira experience preferred (Salesforce uses an internal tool)
- Partner closely with engineering, delivery, and external vendors to execute solutions
- Manage dependencies across internal teams and external partners
- Lead testing and UAT, including:
- Cross-functional and cross-regional UAT
- Sensitive downtime planning and rollout coordination
- Define KPIs and adoption metrics to measure success
- Draft user guides, enablement materials, and release communications
- Support change management and promote adoption of new tools and features
- Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for user needs and resolving issues
- Provide clear, regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
Requirements Required Experience- Strong Salesforce platform experience - Service Cloud/Field Service Experience
- 5+ years as a Senior BSA or Product Owner Analyst
- Deep experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong background in:
- Requirements gathering and refinement
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- UAT leadership and execution
- Change management and enablement
- Comfortable working in Slack-heavy, fast-paced environments
- Strong communicator who can work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
