Our client is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Doral, FL/Remote.

Role Description

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to help build and maintain the data foundation that enables scalable, self-service analytics across the organization. This role will focus on transforming raw data into well-structured, trusted datasets that business users and analysts can leverage to build dashboards, perform analysis, and make informed decisions.
The Analytics Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and analysts to ensure that enterprise data is organized, documented, and governed in a way that promotes consistent reporting and efficient analytics. This role will play a key part in establishing enterprise metrics definitions, certified datasets, and data governance standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data modeling skills with a passion for enabling others to access and use data effectively.

Skills & Requirements

3-6+ years in analytics engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL for complex transformations; experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms.
Proven ability to design curated datasets, build analytics optimized data models, and support scalable self service analytics environments.
Experience with Power BI semantic models, datasets, dataflows, and performance optimization for reporting.
Experience defining enterprise KPIs, managing certified datasets, documenting data lineage, and supporting data governance best practices.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and enable analysts to build trusted, consistent reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with data transformation frameworks (dbt or similar).
Experience implementing data governance or data catalog tools.
Familiarity with Python or scripting for data processing and automation.
Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and analytics architecture.
Experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms or center-of-excellence environments.
