As an Analytics Engineer, you'll transform cross-product iCIMS data into accessible, reliable datasets and build the reporting infrastructure that brings our unified reporting vision to life. You'll work closely with data engineers and the analytics team in a culture that values engineering excellence, clear communication, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable data models optimised for reporting and analytics, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers.
- Apply software engineering best practices-such as version control, automated testing, and CI/CD-to design, build, and maintain data transformation workflows that convert raw ingested data into clean, structured, analytics-ready datasets
- Develop and maintain ELT pipelines to transform raw data into clean, structured datasets
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to customers and internal stakeholders
- Write and optimise SQL queries against data warehouses for performance and usability
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to understand requirements and align on data architecture and reporting needs
- Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards that drive decision-making
- Document data definitions, lineage, and transformation logic to ensure transparency, governance, and self-service analytics capabilities
- Implement data governance practices including security, compliance, and access controls
- Continuously improve data quality, pipeline efficiency, and reporting performance through monitoring, testing, and best practices
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or data modelling roles
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake , BigQuery )
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining data transformation pipelines using modern frameworks (e.g., DBT, Airflow, Databricks)
- Proven experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker)
- Understanding of data architecture concepts including dimensional modelling, star schemas, and data warehouse design patterns
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and software engineering best practices for analytics workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their data services
- Knowledge of Python or R for data transformation and advanced analytics is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams
