### Professional Job Description
Seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Lead with 10+ years of dedicated experience in Dynamics CRM (Sales) for a contract role with openings in Richardson, TX, Houston, TX, and Austin, TX (Hybrid setup).
The candidate will serve as a dual functional lead and QA testing specialist, leading functional design workshops directly with client stakeholders, validating business requirements against Dynamics 365 out-of-the-box/custom features, preparing functional design documentation (FRDs), and executing full end-to-end testing (functional, integration, regression, and UAT).
Key Responsibilities
* Functional Architecture & Requirements Lead: Lead functional design discussions with business stakeholders, perform fit-gap analysis, map business requirements to Dynamics 365 Sales capabilities, and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
* Configurations & Functional Design: Define and review Dynamics 365 customizations, configurations, entities, business rules, workflows, power automate flows, reports, and dashboards adhering to platform best practices.
* Test Strategy & Execution: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts covering CRM customizations, configurations, workflows, and third-party integrations.
* Defect Management & Quality Metrics: Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing; log, track, and retest defects using enterprise defect management tools; and generate test execution reports and quality metrics.
* UAT Support & Stakeholder Sign-Off: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, guide business users through validation scenarios, and secure formal business sign-offs.
Required Qualifications
* Core CRM Mastery: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 (Sales module focus).
* Functional & Technical Depth: Solid knowledge of Dynamics 365 configurations, customizations, workflows, power platform capabilities, and integration testing.
* Dual Capabilities: Proven experience operating as both a Functional Lead (client-facing requirement gathering, FRD writing) and QA Tester (test execution, defect tracking).
* Testing Lifecycle: Strong background in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing with defect management tool experience.
