This role is ideal for someone coming from landscape supply, aggregate materials, outdoor products, construction materials, contractor services, waste/recycling, nursery products, irrigation, sitework, trucking/hauling, or related industries who understands relationship-driven territory sales and enjoys being in the field building business face-to-face.

Job DetailsWe are seeking an Outside Sales Manager to support territory growth throughout the Tucson and Southern Arizona market. This is a relationship-driven hunter role focused on developing new contractor, retail, nursery, landscaping, and commercial accounts while continuing to grow existing customer relationships.
The position will work closely with landscape contractors, excavation/sitework companies, nurseries, garden centers, hardware stores, builders, property maintenance companies, trucking operations, and commercial customers requiring bulk materials, landscaping products, aggregates, roll-off services, or related solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business relationships with landscape contractors, excavation/sitework contractors, nurseries, garden centers, hardware stores, builders, and commercial accounts throughout the Tucson market
- Grow and manage an existing territory through consistent in-person customer visits and relationship development
- Identify opportunities to expand product placement, increase contractor utilization, and grow overall account revenue
- Support retail partners through inventory checks, merchandising support, product placement expansion, and ongoing customer service
- Prospect and develop opportunities tied to aggregates, soils, mulch, compost, landscape materials, trucking/hauling services, and roll-off container solutions
- Build relationships with contractor estimators, project managers, landscape foremen, retail buyers, and operations managers throughout the market
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline tracking, call logs, customer follow-up, and weekly sales reporting
- Partner with operations and leadership teams regarding customer needs, delivery coordination, and territory strategy
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales, territory sales, contractor sales, landscape supply, aggregate sales, building materials, or related industry experience preferred
- Experience selling into contractor, construction, landscaping, nursery, agricultural, hardware, or commercial accounts strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills with the ability to manage both existing and new accounts
- Hunter mentality with strong follow-up skills and comfort prospecting in the field daily
- Comfortable working independently while managing a large territory
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, retail buyers, operations teams, and business owners
- Organized with strong CRM documentation and pipeline management habits
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Comfortable with occasional physical activity tied to customer support and field visits
