The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Automation Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related downtime and implement corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain robotic systems, PLCs, SCADA, and other industrial control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations for all automation projects.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, and robotics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Strong understanding of robotics and robotic programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
