Bill Rate: $81 - $87
Top Requirements (Must Haves):
  • 5+ years Quantitative Analytics experience
  • Deep cross-margining expertise within prime brokerage or derivatives clearing (?50% of skill weighting)
  • Strong mathematical & modeling ability (?30% skill weighting)
      • Deriving formulas
      • Stochastic modeling
      • Understanding capital markets model foundations
  • Expert-level Python engineering for quant model development (?20% skill weighting)
      • Building structured quantitative libraries
      • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot)
  • Strong SQL for data extraction and validation
  • Experience improving, rebuilding, or replacing legacy quant models
  • Ability to respond quickly to ad-hoc model enhancement requests
  • Experience working in large, fast-moving capital markets or CIB environments
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with counterparty credit exposure models (PFE, EE, EAD)
  • Familiarity with prime brokerage product sets related to cross-margining
  • Exposure to equity swaps, metals, energy derivatives, convertible bonds
  • Experience in model risk management, model documentation, or model validation
  • Located in Charlotte, NC (preferred due to existing team members)
  • Job Summary:

    The Quantitative Analytics Specialist 4 will serve as a senior model developer focused on cross-margin counterparty credit risk methodologies. The role involves designing, enhancing, and maintaining advanced quantitative models that calculate exposure across multiple product classes. The engineer will work across Python modeling libraries, SQL datasets, and stochastic model frameworks to modernize legacy methodologies and support high-impact CIB decision-making.

    This is not a pricing or market-risk model role - it specifically supports counterparty credit risk and cross-margin exposure, which are highly visible and time-sensitive components of the firm's risk analytics.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    Modeling & Quantitative Analysis

    Develop and enhance cross-margining counterparty risk models

    Derive mathematical formulas and validate quantitative assumptions

    Identify model gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated logic

    Implement stochastic or capital markets techniques to improve accuracy

    Support modeling across:

    - Equity swaps

    - Metals

    - Energy derivatives

    - Convertible bonds
    Python-Based Technical Development

    Build and maintain Python quant libraries

    Produce robust prototype models, then partner with tech teams for productionization

    Use AI-enabled coding tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate development

    Perform SQL-based data extraction, validation, and analysis
    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Support model owners, business stakeholders, auditors, and PMs

    Translate business and technical concepts into model specifications

    Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to junior team members
    Operational Readiness

    Respond quickly to urgent model-related requests

    Ensure timely delivery of enhancements and model documentation

    Support model validation and audit needs
