Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new automation equipment and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years experience designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in industrial automation (e.g., Python, C#, Java).
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
  • Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots) and their integration into manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Vision Systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection and guidance.
  • Familiarity with data historians and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) for data collection and analysis.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing environments.
  • PLC programming experience with various platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
  • Experience with robotic programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, Universal Robots).
