Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots to optimize production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and integrate solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, and robotics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
• Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other automation components.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automated production lines and equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality control and inspection.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols beyond standard Ethernet/IP (e.g., PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS).
• Proficiency in a scripting language like Python for data analysis, reporting, or advanced automation tasks.
• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools and methodologies.
