Pay Rate: $90 - $96
Top Requirements:
5+ years of Specialty Software / Application Security Engineering experience, supporting complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.4+ years of hands-on application security experience, particularly SAST implementations.3+ years of AI/ML development experience, including frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.2+ years of experience with Generative AI models, reinforcement learning, or autocode remediation models.Strong hands-on experience integrating and supporting Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platforms.Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex tool and pipeline integrations.Plusses:

The Specialty Software Engineer 4 will support
Application Security modernization initiatives by integrating
Checkmarx SAST tooling with Corgea to deliver
AI-driven autocode remediation for in-scope enterprise applications. This senior-level role focuses on enhancing CI/CD security pipelines, improving the developer shift-left experience, and leveraging AI/ML capabilities to automate remediation and improve security posture at scale. The engineer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development teams, and offshore partners while maintaining strong documentation, governance, and tool reliability.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAST strategies for AI/ML-based code.
- Customize Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE to integrate with LLMs, AI/ML frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and enhance autocode remediation workflows using Corgea AI capabilities.
- Provide hands-on support for Checkmarx tooling, including troubleshooting issues.
- Support patching, upgrades, and testing of application security platforms.
- Drive vendor accountability to resolve product defects and issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, engineers, and offshore partners.
- Improve shift-left security adoption with development teams.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation reflecting process and pipeline changes.
- Apply strong attention to detail in governance, tooling, and documentation activities.
