The Senior HR Coordinator/Administrative Admin will support the daily operations of the Human Resources office and union administration work.
This hybrid role requires a highly organized, proactive individual capable of leading recruitment logistics, administering union employee support, and providing top-tier executive administrative support to HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Employee Relations
Onboarding & Offboarding: Support the end-to-end new hire process, including background checks, orientation, and exit interviews.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee personnel files and ensure HR Information Systems (HRIS) are kept up to date.
Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices and HR procedures comply with local, state, and federal employment laws
Administrative & Operational Support
Executive Administration: Manage calendars and prepare meeting materials for HR leadership.
Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, liaise with vendors, and order office supplies.
Communication: Draft memos, update internal files, and manage internal correspondence.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Sourcing & Screening: Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and conduct initial phone screens.
Interview Coordination: Manage interview scheduling, facilitate candidate assessments, and serve as the main point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience.
Offer Management: Guide candidates through the offer process and ensure successful handoffs to the onboarding team.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Recruiting - Union experience a plus!
Education: High school diploma but prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Soft Skills: Strict adherence to confidentiality, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
