Job Title: Senior Quadient Inspire Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA;, Rancho Cordova, CA;, Oakland/San Francisco, CA

Pay Range: $60-$68.50

Overview
  • Senior engineering role (not a template-only/design-only position) focused on enterprise-scale customer communication generation.
  • Deep, hands-on experience using the Quadient Inspire platform to orchestrate multi-channel outputs (documents, emails, reports, and other outbound communications).
  • Delivers compliant, accessible, production-grade communications across multiple formats for high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise customer communication solutions using the Quadient Inspire platform.
  • Build and support multi-channel communications (print and digital documents, customer emails, reports, and other system-generated outputs).
  • Generate and support outputs in industry-standard formats (e.g., PDF, AFP).
  • Implement reusable, data-driven communication components using Inspire modules (Designer, Automation/Scalar, Interactive, Content Manager, Approve Workflow).
  • Integrate Quadient Inspire with upstream/downstream systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, delivery channels, and compliance needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data, formatting, rendering, accessibility, and performance.
  • Ensure communications comply with security, audit, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Participate in SDLC activities including design reviews, testing, releases, and documentation.

Required Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Quadient Inspire certifications in: Inspire Designer, Inspire Scalar, and Inspire Interactive.
  • 5+ years of professional IT or software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Quadient Inspire experience in a production enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end document generation solutions (not just templates).
  • Strong understanding of data-driven document composition.
  • Programming experience in one or more of: Groovy, JavaScript, Python.
  • Experience working in enterprise IT environments with formal SDLC, QA, and release processes.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered if Quadient Inspire expertise is strong.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume, customer-facing communications.
  • Experience with CCM platforms in regulated industries (insurance, healthcare, financial services).
  • Experience with API-based integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience ensuring accessibility and compliance of communications (ADA, WCAG).
  • Experience supporting multi-channel output strategies (print, email, digital delivery).
  • SQL skills (querying and validating data from relational databases).
  • Experience participating in platform modernization or SaaS/cloud migration initiatives.
