In this contingent resource assignment, the Software Engineer will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing multi-faceted, long-term engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, contributing to the resolution of complex situations, and ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategic collaboration with client personnel is essential.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead complex, company-wide technology initiatives with broad impact
Develop standards and best practices for large-scale engineering solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document ServiceNow solutions
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, especially TPRM
Build and enhance business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACLs, and more
Troubleshoot medium-to-complex ServiceNow configuration and scripting issues
Implement integrations and leverage Flow Designer
Utilize AI/GenAI tools to enhance platform capabilities
Collaborate with senior technical experts and external industry groups
Lead projects, mentor peers, and influence engineering decisions
Continuously expand platform knowledge and maintain certifications
