Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Architect Consultant to design, implement, and secure critical network infrastructure.

Location: Columbia, SC

Work Arrangement: 100% Fully Onsite (Candidate must be a current South Carolina resident; no relocation permitted)

Interview Process: 1 Round, Virtual

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement macro and micro network segmentation.
Implement Operational Technology (OT) security hardware/software and integrate it with IT networks.
Document network changes and provide weekly operational updates.
Respond to network outages and network security incidents.

Core Position Requirements (5+ Years Experience):

Advanced Networking & Routing: Deep expertise in TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, MPLS, VRF, Cisco SD-WAN, and SNMP.
Cisco Security Stack: Solid experience with Cisco FTD/FMC, Cisco XDR, Cisco Secure Access, Cisco Secure Endpoint, Cisco Network Analytics, and Cisco ISE.
Wireless Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi, Cellular (4G/5G), and Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul (URWB).
OT & Intelligent Transportation (ITS): Proven background with traffic signal controllers, conflict monitors, traffic preemption devices, sensors, CCTV, and connected vehicle technologies.
Frameworks: Strong alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ITS profiles.

Highly Desired (Preferred Skills):

Experience with Cisco Cybervision, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco ZTNA.
Cisco Certification: CCNP or greater is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

Additional Position Requirements:

Must be able to handle statewide travel depending on project needs.
Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
