StaffRight Associates is currently seeking a skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer for a key role with our client in Buffalo. In this position, you will be a primary driver in optimizing and engineering enterprise-level Windows endpoint solutions. You will focus on high-level automation, designing scalable deployment pipelines, and supporting the strategic transition toward modern management tools like Intune.


Core Responsibilities

  • Automation & Packaging: Design and automate complex application packaging workflows using SCCM, PowerShell, and PSADT to ensure secure, efficient software delivery.

  • Deployment Architecture: Develop and maintain robust deployment pipelines and task sequences for both Windows desktop (10/11) and Server environments.

  • Modernization: Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams to optimize SCCM configurations and execute Intune migration strategies.

  • Problem Solving: Act as the escalation point for complex deployment failures, resolving intricate dependency conflicts and packaging hurdles.

  • Standardization: Establish and document enterprise packaging standards, configuration baselines, and automation frameworks to increase operational maturity.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior team members through technical reviews of scripts, packaging workflows, and deployment processes.


Candidate Requirements

  • Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in Windows application installation, testing, and remediation within an enterprise SCCM ecosystem.

  • Scripting Proficiency: Advanced skills in PowerShell for automating installs, patching, and system remediations.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of combined professional experience and higher education in systems design, architecture, or management.

  • Analytical Depth: Strong troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of how endpoint technologies integrate with broader virtual and server infrastructures.

  • Collaboration: A track record of working effectively with security and operations teams to maintain compliant endpoint configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure design, data management, or complex system architecture.

  • Deep familiarity with industry-standard vendor technologies related to systems engineering.
