Job Description:
Quality Technician (Inspection Technician)
Apex Systems in hiring for a Quality Technician with a large aerospace client, on-site in North Charleston, SC!

Location: 100% on-site in North Charleston, SC
Rate: $28-32/hour (depending upon experience)
Contract Type/ Duration: W2 Contract/ Estimated 12+ month contract (potential for contract extension & conversion)
2 shifts available:
1st shift (6am-2pm)
2nd shift (2ishpm-10ishpm, open to some flexibility as needed for coverage)
Responsibilities:
Respond to inspection calls placed on the call board
Inspecting aircraft equipment and parts that enter the warehouse
Looking for damage
Perform aircraft inspections on electrical and structural systems
Inspect parts including wiring, fasteners, wing-to-body joints, and mid-body joints
Utilize calipers and other precision measuring tools
May require working in confined spaces
Basic Qualifications:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Ability to navigate the computer
At least 1 year of inspection experience
At least 1+ year of experience in aviation/aerospace
At least 3+ year of manufacturing/quality experience
Preferred Experience:
Microsoft experience
Aircraft maintenance experience
A&P (AMP experience)
Manufacturing experience
Electrical experience
Ability to read diagrams (WIDS)
