Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture vision and multi-year roadmap for HR, Finance, and employee platform ecosystems.
  • Design target-state solutions that connect enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments.
  • Set architectural direction and governance standards for integration, scalability, security, and reuse across systems.
  • Identify practical AI opportunities within the employee ecosystem and establish guardrails for responsible adoption.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategic goals into clear technical direction.
  • Guide cloud transformation, modernization, and platform integration efforts in a regulated enterprise environment.
  • Build, mentor, and support a high-performing architecture team through hiring, development, and career growth.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning, budget discussions, investment prioritization, and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in cloud, AI, and employee experience platforms and apply relevant insights to the roadmap.
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and execution excellence.
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise technology and architecture leadership.
  • 6-8+ years of people leadership experience leading technical teams and complex initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Microsoft/Azure cloud platforms.
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow, including employee service delivery, ITSM, and HRSD.
  • Experience with Workday and an understanding of how enterprise employee systems integrate.
  • Ability to apply AI concepts to business processes, with a focus on strategy, use cases, and governance rather than hands-on development.
  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing short- and long-term architecture strategies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology solutions in regulated environments.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budget planning and investment decision support.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across executive and technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
  • Background in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with architecture governance frameworks and integration/API strategy.
  • Exposure to enterprise data architecture concepts.
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence strategic direction at the executive level.
  • Experience improving the end-to-end employee experience through connected technology platforms.
