Job Description ECS is seeking a
System Architect - Senior to work in our
Washington, DC - Hybrid office.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. ECS is seeking a Senior System Architect to design and deliver enterprise system architectures that support the SEC's modernization, automation, and AI strategies. Where the SME sets strategic direction, you translate that direction into actionable designs and working systems.
This role requires deep technical breadth across servers, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud, combined with a strong automation-first mindset. You will design systems that are automated from provisioning to monitoring, evaluate emerging platforms including AI/ML infrastructure components, and work directly with engineering teams to ensure architecture standards are implemented consistently. You are a key enabler of the SEC's transition from manual, legacy operations to a modern, automated, and data-driven IT environment.
