Job Description ECS is seeking an
IT Infrastructure Manager - Senior to work in our
Washington, DC - Hybrid office.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. ECS is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery of IT infrastructure operations at the SEC while driving a fundamental shift toward automation, cloud integration, and AI-enabled management. You will manage multi-discipline technical teams spanning server and storage management, messaging support, and remote access-but your mandate goes beyond keeping the lights on. The SEC expects its infrastructure to become more automated, more resilient, and more intelligent, and you will be the leader who makes that happen.
This role requires a manager who is equally comfortable leading teams and driving technical transformation. You will establish automation targets, implement infrastructure-as-code practices across your teams, introduce AI-powered monitoring and capacity planning, and create a culture where manual processes are continuously identified and eliminated. You will be a key partner to the System Architects and Cloud Engineers in executing the SEC's modernization roadmap.
