Our client is seeking a Project Manager with CensiTrac (Sterilization Software) in Coral Gables, FL
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with hands on CensiTrac (STERIS CENSITRAC) implementation experience to support multiple hospital sites across South Florida. This role requires strong knowledge of hospital sterile processing workflows, sterilization software, and best practices for implementing and optimizing CensiTrac in a live healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate is a former nurse/ surgical professional who has transitioned into project management and possesses a deep understanding of clinical operations, surgical workflows, and sterilization compliance requirements.
Lead end to end implementation of the CensiTrac sterilization tracking system across multiple hospital facilities.
Conduct on site walkthroughs, assessments, and readiness evaluations to ensure smooth deployment.
Work closely with Sterile Processing Departments (SPDs), OR leadership, IT teams, and vendor partners to ensure project alignment and success.
Configure, test, and validate CensiTrac functionality in a hospital environment.
Provide best practice guidance on sterilization tracking, workflow optimization, compliance, and equipment utilization.
Track project milestones, manage risks, provide executive updates, and escalate issues when needed.
Train end users and clinical teams on the CensiTrac platform and newly established workflows.
Support go live activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful adoption post implementation.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and implementation playbooks.
Skills & Requirements
Hands on experience with CensiTrac (CENSITRAC) in a hospital Sterile Processing or Surgical Services setting.
Strong knowledge of sterile processing workflows, best practices, and regulatory compliance (AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, etc.).
3-7 years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare or hospital systems.
Proven experience leading technology or workflow implementations in a clinical setting.
Ability to be onsite at hospital locations across South Florida as needed.
Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification.
Experience with additional SPD or surgical software tools.
Prior work with Sterile Processing Departments (SPD) or Operating Room clinical environments.
