Job Title: Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and validate complex test solutions supporting advanced electro-optic sensor systems. This role involves close collaboration across engineering, production, and test teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality system performance throughout the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, execute, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems

Translate customer and contractual requirements into comprehensive system and subsystem test solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Define and document functional and technical specifications, interface requirements, and input/output parameters

Resolve hardware/software integration issues and ensure seamless operation across all system elements

Review and derive testability requirements and drive design for test (DFT) considerations

Develop and lead execution of system-level and subsystem-level test plans, procedures, and schedules

Coordinate integration and test activities across cross-functional engineering teams and production organizations

Perform detailed test data analysis and prepare formal verification and validation (V&V) reports

Identify, document, and track issues through discrepancy reports

Execute regression testing to verify fixes and enhancements to software, hardware, and system components

Support high-volume production testing environments, ensuring reliability and repeatability of test equipment

Minimum Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in Software Development (C, C++, LabVIEW preferred)

4-6 years of experience supporting production environments

6+ years of experience in test equipment design

6+ years of experience in electronic test and measurement

6+ years of experience in mechanical testing and system validation

Strong understanding of system integration, verification, and validation methodologies

Experience working with complex electromechanical systems

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and National Instruments (NI) platforms

Strong proficiency in C/C++, combined with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware integration

Experience integrating and controlling PXI/VXI chassis, switches, EO test systems, and automation frameworks

Proven background in developing and maintaining ATE in high-volume production environments

Experience supporting or testing electro-optic sensor systems for advanced platforms

Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
