Role Overview:We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in Java/J2EE and enterprise integrations to design, enhance, and maintain distributed applications. This role focuses on hands-on development, systems analysis, integrations, and test automation, supporting business initiatives through reliable, scalable technical solutions. You'll work independently with moderate guidance and collaborate closely with developers and quality teams across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze business needs and translate requirements into technical designs, workflows, and system documentation
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement distributed applications and system enhancements
- Build and maintain integrations using Java/J2EE, SOA, middleware, and web services (SOAP/REST)
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and data flow artifacts
- Investigate and resolve defects and production issues; provide ongoing application support
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using established testing frameworks
- Collaborate with software developers and SQA teams throughout testing and implementation
- Support data migration, data mapping, and file transfers (SFTP) across systems
Qualifications:- 5-10 years of distributed application development experience
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE and frameworks such as JSP, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, Maven, log4j, and JUnit
- Solid understanding of web services: WSDL, SOAP, XML, RESTful APIs
- Experience working with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, or Oracle preferred)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and established testing techniques
- Familiarity with mainframe environments and enterprise integrations
- Experience with data migration, cloud mappings, and secure file transfers (SFTP)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $75.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
