SAP EAM Consultant with Utility experience
Location: Hybrid (Markham) - Travel accepted
Pay rate: CAD 95/Hour- CAD 98/Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Consultant with strong domain expertise in the Utilities industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EAM solutions to optimize asset lifecycle management, maintenance processes, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP EAM solutions aligned with business requirements
- Work on end-to-end EAM processes, including:
- Asset structure & master data (functional locations, equipment)
- Preventive & corrective maintenance
- Work order management
- Notifications and breakdown maintenance
- Collaborate with Utilities business stakeholders (Electric, Water, Gas) to gather and translate requirements into SAP solutions
- Integrate SAP EAM with other modules such as:
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
- SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities)
- Support asset lifecycle management, including planning, execution, and performance tracking
- Configure and enhance maintenance plans, task lists, and strategies
- Work on mobile EAM solutions (SAP Work Manager or Fiori apps)
- Perform data migration, data cleansing, and asset data validation
- Support S/4HANA EAM transformations and upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide ongoing support
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for developments
- Conduct user training, testing (SIT/UAT), and documentation
Required Skills (Maximum 6):
- Strong experience in SAP EAM / PM configuration and implementation
- Proven experience in Utilities domain (Electricity, Gas, or Water)
- Expertise in maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM
- Knowledge of integration with MM, FI/CO, and IS-U
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
