This position is for a Process Design Consultant focused on Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency (BCOR). The role involves driving and executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a technology Enterprise Control Function (ECF). The successful candidate will provide analytical and administrative support for specific processes and tools to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards. This position is critical for managing and remediating open risks and issues and supporting the evolution of internal tools and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of issue remediation activities, including the development of evidence for issue and action step closure.
- Manage the execution of governance routines and controls to ensure risk and regulatory adherence related to technology resiliency.
- Support the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
- Implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
- Perform QA activities, including executing controls, managing cases, and reporting results.
- Assist in managing regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring reviews.
- Evaluate data relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting.
- Consult on process improvements for internal controls and tools.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Five or more years in a Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency (BCOR) role supporting business technology.
- Solid understanding of Single Process Inventory (SPI) process and management, including controls, risks, and ratings.
- Experience in process ownership, defining requirements, and performing testing or validation.
- Good understanding of risk self-identification and the issues management lifecycle.
- Project management discipline.
