  We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineering professional to support and manage enterprise messaging and middleware platforms. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical messaging systems that enable communication between distributed applications.

  The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in MQ and Apache Kafka, with exposure to modern event-driven architectures. Experience with Solace is a plus. This is a highly collaborative role working across infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  
  

• 
  
  Manage, support, and maintain enterprise messaging platforms, including MQ and Kafka.
  
  


• 
  
  Monitor messaging systems, queues, topics, and brokers to ensure high availability and performance.
  
  


• 
  
  Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including message failures, delays, and connectivity issues.
  
  


• 
  
  Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  
  


• 
  
  Support data centre migrations, upgrades, and platform transitions with minimal downtime.
  
  


• 
  
  Configure, deploy, and optimize messaging infrastructure components.
  
  


• 
  
  Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support integration needs.
  
  


• 
  
  Implement automation for routine operational tasks using scripting tools (e.g., Shell, Python).
  
  


• 
  
  Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and operational standards.
  
  


• 
  
  Participate in on-call support and incident management processes.
  
  

• 
  
  7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Middleware, or Messaging platforms.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong hands-on expertise in MQ (administration, configuration, and troubleshooting).
  
  


• 
  
  Experience with Apache Kafka (topics, brokers, producers/consumers, performance tuning).
  
  


• 
  
  Exposure to Solace or similar messaging/event streaming platforms is a plus.
  
  


• 
  
  Solid understanding of messaging patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
  
  


• 
  
  Experience in production support environments (L2/L3 support) and incident management.
  
  


• 
  
  Familiarity with data center migrations, system upgrades, and environment transitions.
  
  


• 
  
  Proficiency in scripting/automation (Shell, Python, or similar).
  
  


• 
  
  Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  
  


• 
  
  Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

  ITIL certification or experience with ITIL-based processes.
