RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Decatur, ILthat is seeking a Field Service Analyst for a 6 month contract role. Occasional travel across North America may be required based on project needs
Key Responsibilities:
Workstation Moves & Office Setup
* Coordinate and complete workstation moves and move/add/change requests
* Disconnect, relocate, reconnect, and test end-user equipment
* Work with site leadership to schedule workspace changes
Device Deployment & Lifecycle Support:
* Deploy laptops, desktops, and peripherals as part of device refresh programs
* Image, stage, and configure systems according to IT standards
* Maintain asset records and lifecycle updates in the service management platform
End-User Technology Installation
* Install and support phones, printers, scanners, headsets, and other office technology
* Assist with digital signage, time clocks, kiosks, and shared site technology
Infrastructure & Cabling Support
* Assist with rack installations, patching, and basic structured cabling
* Coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors during larger installations
Asset Management
* Track IT assets and support device returns, recycling, and equipment recovery during site changes
Collaboration:
* Partner with regional IT support teams and internal technology groups
* Provide on-site support during deployments and technology initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-3 years of experience in IT support, field services, or a related technical role preferred
* Familiarity supporting Windows-based systems and common office hardware
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
* Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize work effectively
* Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks including equipment setup, relocation, and basic cabling
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
