Contract Length: 3-5 Months Initially (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $79 - $84/hour
Top Requirements:

Previous hands-on Software Development experience (Business Analyst experience alone is not sufficient).

Strong experience developing, maintaining, and supporting reports using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS.

Advanced SQL expertise, including reading, writing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and modifying complex queries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Experience supporting reporting and data-driven business solutions in financial services or enterprise environments.

Plusses:

Accounting, finance, or financial institution knowledge.

Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Job Summary:

This Business Execution Consultant 5 role supports reporting and analytics initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise reporting solutions. The consultant will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver reporting capabilities that support operational decision-making, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines a software development background with strong SQL and reporting expertise. This position requires the ability to quickly learn proprietary tools and processes, independently solve complex challenges, and deliver high-quality reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports using Power BI, SSRS, and Report Builder.
• Create, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and reporting datasets.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Support operational and strategic reporting initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Validate reporting accuracy and ensure data integrity across reporting platforms.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios for reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot data, reporting, and performance issues.
• Learn and support proprietary SQL-based development tools and processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting enhancements.
• Document reporting logic, technical specifications, and support procedures.
• Provide recommendations for reporting improvements, automation opportunities, and process efficiencies.
