Role Overview
This is an individual contributor position responsible for architecting and shaping enterprise-grade technology solutions. This senior-level role uses deep engineering and architecture expertise to define solution direction, establish technical patterns, and guide implementation teams through architectural leadership. The focus will be on front-end architecture, but the candidate will support all application tiers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural insights specifically around application UI design, UI libraries, and frameworks.
- Own and define end-to-end solution architecture for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and control requirements.
- Translate business objectives and regulatory constraints into clear, durable architecture designs.
- Define and evolve technology stacks, architectural patterns, and integration approaches.
- Produce high-quality architecture artifacts, including diagrams, flows, decision records, and solution blueprints.
- Lead and facilitate architecture and design reviews, providing critique, surfacing trade-offs, and identifying risks.
- Provide implementation guidance to engineering teams, ensuring architectural intent is preserved without delivery or sprint ownership.
- Conduct proofs-of-concept (POCs) and technical spikes to validate architectural approaches and emerging technologies.
- Establish reference patterns and reusable architectural components to improve consistency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Hands-on experience with front-end development, including UI framework upgrades and migrations.
- Experience with Angular 18+ and Angular X.
- Proficiency in UI Development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Distributed Systems and Integration Patterns (synchronoasynchronous).
- Enterprise Solution Architecture and Systems Design.
- Architectural Review and Design Critique.
- Leadership in Proof-of-Concept and Technical Evaluation.
- Technical Strategy and Target-State Architecture Development.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $65.00/hr - $70.24/hr. The specific rate offered will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
