Senior Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT business analysis, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires expertise in transportation modules, integration testing, and user training while ensuring alignment with global business templates.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective process or technology solutions within the transportation module.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases for new functionalities, including comprehensive cost-benefit and risk-impact analyses.

Manage and prioritize ticket backlogs, working towards resolving issues promptly within the transportation module.

Gather requirements and perform integration analysis for modules such as PP and SD.

Create and execute test plans, develop test cases, and conduct functional and user acceptance testing.

Assist in enhancing moderately complex information systems and ensure appropriate error management functionality.

Provide training to new users on supported applications as needed.

Promote and enforce workplace safety standards by identifying and addressing hazards.

Participate in Scrum activities, including backlog grooming and supporting unit and integration testing.

Take ownership of testing phases for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in the organization's environment.
At least 12 months of experience in the agriculture or energy industry.
Familiarity with transportation-related processes and systems for at least 12 months.
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work independently, balancing self-guided research with team collaboration.
Expertise in SAP R/3 and understanding of global business templates.
Demonstrated efficiency in time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
