Project/Program Manager IT

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a Scrum Master, ensuring Agile principles are upheld while fostering collaboration and driving team efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team effectiveness.

Identify and address obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth project execution.

Mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, fostering self-management and cross-functionality.

Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog.

Promote continuous improvement by encouraging regular inspections and adaptations of team processes.

Ensure effective communication among stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.

Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support growth and development.

Utilize strategic planning and resource allocation skills to optimize project outcomes.

Leverage knowledge of software tools such as Visual Basic and Java to support technical aspects of project management.

Drive Agile development processes, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.

Requirements

Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodologies with a strong understanding of Scrum practices.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively and meeting project deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities to support team development.
Strong knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Proficiency in software tools such as Visual Basic, Java, and other relevant technologies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in project/program management.
