Description
We are looking for an experienced End User Migration Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will provide critical technical support for hardware and software installations, ensuring seamless operations for end users. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer hardware and associated technologies, paired with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and associated devices to ensure optimal functionality.
Provide technical assistance for Apple and Dell technologies, addressing user concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
Perform cable installations and maintain proper connectivity for devices.
Assist with hardware migration tasks, ensuring seamless transitions for end users.
Conduct diagnostic tests and implement solutions to resolve hardware-related problems.
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and effective technical support.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with company standards and protocols during all technical operations.
Educate end users on the proper use of hardware and software tools.
Monitor and report on the status of hardware systems to ensure consistent performance.
Requirements
Proven experience with computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Dell Technologies and Apple devices.
Knowledge of cable installation processes and techniques.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills for interacting with end users and team members.
Attention to detail when documenting technical procedures and repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
