About the Role
Immediate opening for a Senior MDM Analyst with expertise in Informatica Master Data Management (preferred but other strong experience, i.e. SAP, is considered). This highly visible position supports a leading global industrial manufacturer renowned for engineering innovation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise MDM solutions using Informatica MDM and related Informatica platforms.
- Partner with business leaders, data owners, and subject matter experts to define data management needs, priorities, and order management processes across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain data models, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data stewardship workflows to create and sustain accurate golden records.
- Implement and optimize matching and merging algorithms to enhance master data quality and reliability.
- Design and develop ETL/ELT mappings, data pipelines, and integration workflows to support the enterprise master data architecture.
- Create and maintain data quality rules, profiling processes, cleansing routines, and monitoring dashboards to ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Implement and manage Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including metadata harvesting, business glossaries, policy enforcement, lineage tracking, and data discovery capabilities.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings and integration patterns between MDM and governance platforms to ensure seamless metadata and catalog synchronization.
- Collaborate with Data Governance teams and downstream system owners to establish global data standards, stewardship processes, and master data workflows.
- Support data onboarding, source system integrations, entity lifecycle management, and governance adoption initiatives.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive performance improvements.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including data lineage diagrams, architecture overviews, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts; participate in architecture reviews and data governance councils.
- Drive adoption of global master data standards and governance practices while partnering with international business leaders on continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management or data governance environments.
- Strong expertise with Informatica MDM, including match/merge rules, survivorship logic, golden record creation, and workflow development.
- Practical experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including stewardship workflows, business glossaries, and governance policy enforcement.
- Proficient in SQL for data validation, profiling, querying, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with SAP ECC and related enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to build data dictionaries, business glossaries, governance frameworks, and stewardship processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and structure complex data for effective business decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across IT, business, and global teams.
- Highly organized, with strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
