Configure and maintain the Civica MDM platform, including matching rules, merge/survivorship thresholds, and data stewardship workflows.
Design and build integrations between MDM and source systems, typically via Azure Service Bus / Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), supporting both synchronous and asynchronous data flows.
Develop and configure MDM services, data adaptors, and messaging infrastructure to publish the validated single view to downstream applications.
Implement and tune data quality processes deduplication, cleansing, verification, and enrichment against external reference sources (e.g., Civica MDM Enrich).
Support CRM/ERP integration (e.g., Civica MDM CRM Embed with Microsoft Dynamics 365) so accurate master data is available at the point of customer or patient engagement.
Collaborate with data stewards to define governance policies, matching logic, and report distribution.
Troubleshoot data-matching anomalies, performance issues, and integration failures.
Document configuration, data models, and integration specifications, and contribute to knowledge transfer with internal teams.
Participate in implementation projects: requirements gathering, proof of concept, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Civica MDM / MultiVue (or comparable MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, SAS, Talend, or Microsoft MDS).
Strong understanding of MDM concepts: golden record, match/merge/survivorship, single/360-degree view, single- and multi-domain MDM.
Experience with data integration patterns and messaging (ESB, message queues, REST/SOAP services).
Proficiency in JavaScript for building services, integrations, and tooling around the MDM platform.
Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases for handling flexible, document-oriented data.
Hands-on experience with AWS, including provisioning and managing EC2 instances for hosting and compute.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services Kubernetes (AKS), Cosmos DB, Service Bus for cloud-hosted MDM deployments.
Solid SQL and data modeling skills.
Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and stewardship processes.
Preferred / Desirable
Domain experience in state/local government or healthcare (including EMPI / enterprise master patient index and provider directory work).
Knowledge of data security and compliance (encryption at rest, AES-256, customer-managed keys; relevant regulatory frameworks).
Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK best practices; CDMP certification a plus.
Experience with CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Broader AWS ecosystem experience (S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS) beyond core EC2.
Experience with search functionalities (e.g., enterprise search, full-text search, or search engines such as Elasticsearch / OpenSearch) is a plus.
