Summary

Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role focuses on delivering Tier 1 IT support while managing and maintaining the organization's information systems and infrastructure. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, system security, and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities:
Resolve Tier 1 IT support requests, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Deploy, configure, and maintain client and server hardware and software systems.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and procure IT solutions.
Identify and address software and system vulnerabilities to enhance security.
Act as a liaison between staff and external service providers for system maintenance.
Administer and support environments running Windows Server, Windows Client operating systems, and Linux systems.
Perform network administration tasks, including managing subnets, protocols, and firewall configurations.
Maintain and support common client and server hardware platforms.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to uphold information security standards.
Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures for future reference.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field OR a current industry certification (e.g., A+, Security+, Linux, Network+, Azure).


Proficiency in Windows Server and Client operating systems.

Familiarity with Linux systems and general networking concepts.

Experience in router and firewall configurations.

Knowledge of common client and server hardware platforms.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
