About the RoleWe're looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused
Associate Product Manager, Generative AI to help drive the development and delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions within Commercial Banking. In this role, you'll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable product solutions.

What You'll DoProduct Planning & Backlog Management- Partner with Product Managers to define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and definition of done.
- Decompose product features into functional and non-functional requirements for Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Identify solution components across front-end, back-end, APIs, integrations, and Generative AI capabilities.
- Ensure stories are well-refined, prioritized, and ready for development.
Product Delivery & Execution- Quickly gain understanding of business processes, technical architecture, and AI-driven product capabilities.
- Lead backlog grooming sessions and collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, story estimation, and release activities.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Data Science, QA, and UX teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
- Manage dependencies across multiple teams and drive alignment on priorities and timelines.
- Support solution design discussions with a focus on scalability, extensibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Validate completed work prior to release and ensure business requirements are met.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and release readiness activities.
Data & AI Product Ownership- Define and manage data requirements that support Generative AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data sources, integrations, and data flows.
- Develop source-to-target data mappings across enterprise systems.
- Validate data quality, completeness, and accuracy across various platforms.
- Create and manage stories related to integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and testing.
- Support API validation, batch data testing, and end-to-end integration testing.
Stakeholder Collaboration- Facilitate communication across business, product, technology, and data teams.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, and progress to stakeholders.
- Capture meeting outcomes, decisions, and action items.
- Maintain centralized project documentation and product artifacts.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Software Development, or related disciplines.
- Experience working in Agile development environments using Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to convert complex business and technical requirements into user stories and actionable deliverables.
- Understanding of system architecture, application workflows, APIs, databases, and integration patterns.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, and API testing methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Postman, Figma, and related collaboration platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting AI/ML or Generative AI product development initiatives.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and responsible AI principles.
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech environments.
- Understanding of modern cloud-based architectures and enterprise data platforms.
- Familiarity with Teradata, MongoDB, or other large-scale data management technologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of Product, Engineering, Data Science, and UX professionals.
