Role Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Data Governance Specialist for an on-site contract position. The role requires a candidate with extensive experience in data stewardship and governance within the retail supply chain sector. The specialist will be instrumental in driving process improvements and providing actionable recommendations based on complex data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data stewardship and data governance initiatives within the retail supply chain domain.
- Utilize a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, planning, and logistics.
- Interpret complex data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Communicate and present findings effectively to leadership.
- Drive process improvements and enhance data management practices.
- Work with data modeling, metadata management, and data quality platforms.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in data stewardship or data governance within the retail supply chain domain is required.
Technical Skills:- Deep expertise in data modeling and metadata management.
- Experience with data governance and data-quality platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data-profiling techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ATLAN is a plus.
- Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Experience building process-related AI agents is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position requiring work five days a week. The standard schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM PT. Willingness to work outside standard business hours may be necessary.
