Role Overview
The Business Analyst role will focus on building a Manufacturing Data Control Tower, leveraging enterprise data, system signals, and AI to enable real-time visibility, intelligent insights, and proactive decision-making across manufacturing operations. This role will work across enterprise systems to connect data, identify risks, and drive AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency and throughput. The position will also own and drive AI initiatives and support program management of cross-functional efforts within the data governance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support data control tower capabilities, including dashboards, monitoring, and exception management.
- Enable cross-system visibility and alignment between PLM and ERP systems.
- Drive the AI workstream by identifying use cases, prototyping solutions, and partnering with IT and Engineering to scale them.
- Lead and manage data governance and cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment on scope, timeline, and stakeholders.
- Drive the automation of data workflows to improve data quality and processes.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Create documentation, generate insights, and support stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A Bachelor's Degree with 8 plus years of experience in data, business analysis, program management, or enterprise systems. Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain environments is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with SAP and/or PLM (3DX) is necessary. Candidates should also have experience in AI/ML, automation, or data-driven initiatives, including prototyping use cases, and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to connect data across systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- A basic understanding of master data (BOM, material, routing) is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- A strong execution and ownership mindset.
- Curiosity and interest in applying AI to real business problems.
