About the RoleSeeking a highly skilled
Lead Developer to join the Software Delivery organization. This is not a traditional lead role-this position is designed for a hands-on technical leader who excels in both strategic evaluation and practical implementation of software solutions, especially as the company continues to grow through acquisition.
The Lead Developer will play a critical role in assessing new tools and applications acquired through M&A activity, determining integration requirements, and either modernizing, retiring, or enhancing those systems. This is a unique opportunity to influence technology decisions, lead due diligence efforts, drive security compliance, and guide a team of developers while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day coding.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical due diligence on applications acquired through organizational growth.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and legacy systems to determine integration readiness and modernization needs.
- Enhance, retire, or refactor applications to align with enterprise architecture and security requirements.
- Strengthen overall security posture by applying modern security principles and hardening standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a development team while remaining hands-on with coding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, propose solutions, and guide technology decisions.
- Drive compliance initiatives to mitigate security vulnerabilities across applications.
- Deliver clear, polished, executive-ready communication and recommendations.
Technical Requirements- Strong experience with the .NET stack, including C#.
- Expertise in SQL Server and database design.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- Full-stack development experience with Angular (React acceptable).
- Experience modernizing legacy applications-migration, refactoring, hardening, or integration.
- Familiarity with security principles and application hardening.
- Financial industry experience is preferred but not required.
