We are seeking a seasoned Python Full Stack Developer with at least 8 years of experience delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality enterprise applications. The role demands deep hands-on expertise across backend and frontend development, strong design and architectural ownership, and a focus on engineering excellence, code quality, and Agile delivery. This is a contract position located onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Python full-stack technologies.
- Architect and build backend services with FastAPI, Flask, and API-centric designs.
- Develop modern user interfaces with React or Angular, focusing on state management and component-driven design.
- Implement scalable UI using utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Design and work with microservices, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
- Define and uphold engineering standards to deliver high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to support iterative delivery cycles.
- Utilize CI/CD tools, automated testing, and DevOps practices to streamline development.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python full-stack development.
Technical Skills:- Expertise in backend development with FastAPI and Flask.
- Experience developing modern UIs with frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Solid problem-solving and system-design skills.
- Knowledge of Node.js and Python is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-driven or AI-assisted development, such as integrating ML endpoints or using AI tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and scalable deployment patterns.
- Exposure to observability, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive pay rate is offered for this contract role, ranging from $60.00 to $65.06 per hour. Eligibility for benefits may vary.
