CLOSING DATE: Open until filledDESCRIPTION: Positions at this level are accountable for applying and using experience in the field of application development and support to write and modify code, test, debug, document, and implement software applications. Performs moderately complex assignments that may require the development of new or improved applications, processes, or techniques. Assignments may involve integration of third party applications. May provide technical mentorship and perform code reviews for other team members. Acts with independence and may be accountable for a significant portion of a large project/enhancement.

Responsibilities - What you'll doRESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, develop, implement, and maintain both new and existing applications (including high complexity, high risk, and high visibility applications; as well as large-scale enterprise applications) using C#, VB, Bootstrap, JavaScript.
- Create secure, responsive and 508 compliant web-based user experiences using ASP.NET, Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Write and maintain basic and complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Write and maintain SQL Server Integration Services packages and SQL Server Reporting Services reports.
- Write and maintain documentation for new and existing features.
- Participate in design discussions.
- Keep up to date on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
Qualifications - All you need for successPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Must have knowledge in the following skillsets: C#, VB, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design, Visual Studio, SSIS, SSRS, Web Accessibility Standards, and Web Application Security.
- 4+ years web development experience.
- Solid understanding of OOP design principles and best practices.
- Working knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server Management Studio, SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexes, and relational database schema design.
- Ability to transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
- Knowledge in the following is beneficial: Entity Framework, jQuery, Bootstrap, Accessibility Standards (SiteImprove) and Open XML SDK.
- Knowledge of SAMII Financial would also be useful.
- SQL DBA, Windows Server and Desktop knowledge would be beneficial.
