Client is in the middle of an RPA implementation as their main SME has given notice and is moving on out of Helix. They need immediate expertise with RPA to help pull them through the finish line regarding a few specific pathways in this implementation. Here are the details:

• AP Invoice Automation Scan and process vendor invoices end-to-end for payment processing, including:
• Monitoring designated input folders for new invoice PDFs
• Using OCR/document understanding to read PO number, invoice number, dates, tax, and total
• Validating extracted data against ERP/PO records and flagging exceptions for manual review
• Uploading validated invoices into the ERP (e.g., Image Manager/queue), creating or updating batches, and preparing vouchers for payment
• Generating bot run reports and email summaries so AP has clear visibility into processed and exception items
• Purchase Order Close Out Automatically close out Purchase Orders in our ERP based on defined aging and value rules, such as:
• Pulling open PO data from the ERP on a schedule
• Applying business rules (e.g., older than X days, remaining value below threshold, fully received/ matched)
• Closing eligible POs and logging each action with before/after values for auditability
• Producing an exception list for POs that fail validation (e.g., mismatched receipts, open invoices)
• Emailing a summary report to stakeholders so they can review and address any edge cases
• RPA Library Components Shared, reusable components that standardize common RPA functions, including:
• SMTP Email Library: Consistent email notifications from bots (success/failure), with configurable recipients, subjects, and attachments (e.g., run reports, error logs)
• Egnyte API Integration: Centralized file operations for bots (upload, download, move, list) in Egnyte so each use case doesn t have to re-implement storage logic
• Designed to be referenced by multiple automations, reducing build time and improving maintainability and supportability across the RPA portfolio
