Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Hybrid)

Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day remote. M-F 8-5

Length: 12+ Month W2 contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead large, complex technology initiatives that deliver business value across the organization. This role requires a combination of project management fundamentals with strategic thinking, proactive risk management, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. The successful candidate will bring structure to complex situations, foster collaboration across technical and business teams, and help leaders make informed decisions by providing insights, recommendations, and actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate multiple complex IT projects and programs with significant organizational impact.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and governance artifacts.
  • Understand business objectives, requirements, project risks, dependencies, and the full project lifecycle.
  • Anticipate risks, issues, and resource constraints early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Provide clear, concise project performance reporting, executive communications, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Facilitate decision-making by presenting options, tradeoffs, risks, and solution paths.
Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of project management experience, with at least three years supporting information technology initiatives, OR eleven years of related business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
What Success Looks Like
  • Proactive Leadership: Consistently looking ahead to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities before they become business challenges.
  • Solutions-Oriented Mindset: Helping project teams navigate uncertainty by providing clarity, structure, and actionable next steps.
  • Curiosity and Continuous Improvement: Actively leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve project delivery and team productivity.
  • Excellence and Ownership: Driving high-quality execution and sustainable business value, rather than simply completing project tasks.
