Position Overview

The IT Investment & Vendor Governance Analyst supports enterprise technology investment and vendor management operations by providing financial analysis, reporting, governance coordination, and operational insights. This role works closely with the Technology Investment Office (TIO) and Vendor Management Office (VMO) to ensure effective tracking, visibility, and execution of technology initiatives and vendor-related activities.

This position is ideal for a highly analytical and organized professional who can manage multiple priorities, collaborate across business functions, and communicate insights effectively to leadership teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track technology investment budgets, funding allocations, actual spend, forecasts, and variances.
  • Support portfolio governance activities by coordinating reviews, collecting inputs, validating data, and preparing documentation.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPI reports, and executive-level presentations.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, PMO, Supply Management, Regulatory, and business stakeholders to support portfolio execution and operational continuity.
  • Assist with vendor-related reporting, governance tracking, and operational oversight activities.
  • Prepare concise summaries and leadership-ready materials highlighting project status, financial performance, and key risks.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in financial analysis, business operations, PMO support, IT operations, vendor management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organize and interpret large data sets into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to IT financial management, vendor governance, or portfolio reporting.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and governance processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of project management or portfolio management concepts.
