About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to lead security testing initiatives across our E&T solution portfolio, with a particular focus on our Grants Management practice. This role plays a critical part in ensuring secure, high-quality software releases by promoting a "shift-left" approach to application and network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual penetration testing on:
- APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Web applications
- Mobile applications
- Thick client applications
- Perform threat modeling, application architecture reviews, and evaluate business logic.
- Communicate testing processes, techniques, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Guide remediation efforts and support teams in evaluating security solutions.
- Collaborate with Cyber teams to:
- Develop new testing methodologies
- Automate testing processes
- Create marketing collateral
- Mentor junior and offshore team members
- Demonstrate real-time proof-of-concept (POC) exploits and testing techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application penetration testing (APIs, web, or mobile).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and lead remediation discussions.
- Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite Pro, Netsparker, and Checkmarx.
- Demonstrated ability to perform live demos and exploit POCs.
