Job Title: Penetration Tester

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract (with potential for extension or full-time conversion)
About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to lead security testing initiatives across our E&T solution portfolio, with a particular focus on our Grants Management practice. This role plays a critical part in ensuring secure, high-quality software releases by promoting a "shift-left" approach to application and network security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manual penetration testing on:
    • APIs (REST/SOAP)
    • Web applications
    • Mobile applications
    • Thick client applications
  • Perform threat modeling, application architecture reviews, and evaluate business logic.
  • Communicate testing processes, techniques, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Guide remediation efforts and support teams in evaluating security solutions.
  • Collaborate with Cyber teams to:
    • Develop new testing methodologies
    • Automate testing processes
    • Create marketing collateral
    • Mentor junior and offshore team members
  • Demonstrate real-time proof-of-concept (POC) exploits and testing techniques.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application penetration testing (APIs, web, or mobile).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and lead remediation discussions.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite Pro, Netsparker, and Checkmarx.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform live demos and exploit POCs.
